1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ שִׁיר מִזְמוֹר הָרִיעוּ לֵאלֹהִים כָּל־הָאָרֶץ׃
1 For the Leader. A Song, a Psalm. Shout unto God, all the earth;
2 זַמְּרוּ כְבוֹד־שְׁמוֹ שִׂימוּ כָבוֹד תְּהִלָּתוֹ׃
2 Sing praises unto the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious.
3 אִמְרוּ לֵאלֹהִים מַה־נּוֹרָא מַעֲשֶׂיךָ בְּרֹב עֻזְּךָ יְכַחֲשׁוּ לְךָ אֹיְבֶיךָ׃
3 Say unto God: 'How tremendous is Thy work! Through the greatness of Thy power shall Thine enemies dwindle away before Thee.
4 כָּל־הָאָרֶץ יִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְךָ וִיזַמְּרוּ־לָךְ יְזַמְּרוּ שִׁמְךָ סֶלָה׃
4 All the earth shall worship Thee, And shall sing praises unto Thee; They shall sing praises to Thy name.' Selah
5 לְכוּ וּרְאוּ מִפְעֲלוֹת אֱלֹהִים נוֹרָא עֲלִילָה עַל־בְּנֵי אָדָם׃
5 Come, and see the works of God; He is terrible in His doing toward the children of men.
6 הָפַךְ יָם לְיַבָּשָׁה בַּנָּהָר יַעַבְרוּ בְרָגֶל שָׁם נִשְׂמְחָה־בּוֹ׃
6 He turned the sea into dry land; They went through the river on foot; There let us rejoice in Him!
7 מֹשֵׁל בִּגְבוּרָתוֹ עוֹלָם עֵינָיו בַּגּוֹיִם תִּצְפֶּינָה הַסּוֹרְרִים אַל־ירימו [יָרוּמוּ] לָמוֹ סֶלָה׃
7 Who ruleth by His might for ever; His eyes keep watch upon the nations; Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah
8 בָּרְכוּ עַמִּים אֱלֹהֵינוּ וְהַשְׁמִיעוּ קוֹל תְּהִלָּתוֹ׃
8 Bless our God, ye peoples, And make the voice of His praise to be heard;
9 הַשָּׂם נַפְשֵׁנוּ בַּחַיִּים וְלֹא־נָתַן לַמּוֹט רַגְלֵנוּ׃
9 Who hath set our soul in life, And suffered not our foot to be moved,
10 כִּי־בְחַנְתָּנוּ אֱלֹהִים צְרַפְתָּנוּ כִּצְרָף־כָּסֶף׃
10 For Thou, O God, hast tried us; Thou hast refined us, as silver is refined.
11 הֲבֵאתָנוּ בַמְּצוּדָה שַׂמְתָּ מוּעָקָה בְמָתְנֵינוּ׃
11 Thou didst bring us into the hold; Thou didst lay constraint upon our loins.
12 הִרְכַּבְתָּ אֱנוֹשׁ לְרֹאשֵׁנוּ בָּאנוּ־בָאֵשׁ וּבַמַּיִם וַתּוֹצִיאֵנוּ לָרְוָיָה׃
12 Thou hast caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But Thou didst bring us out unto abundance.
13 אָבוֹא בֵיתְךָ בְעוֹלוֹת אֲשַׁלֵּם לְךָ נְדָרָי׃
13 I will come into Thy house with burnt-offerings, I will perform unto Thee my vows,
14 אֲשֶׁר־פָּצוּ שְׂפָתָי וְדִבֶּר־פִּי בַּצַּר־לִי׃
14 Which my lips have uttered, And my mouth hath spoken, when I was in distress.
15 עֹלוֹת מֵחִים אַעֲלֶה־לָּךְ עִם־קְטֹרֶת אֵילִים אֶעֱשֶׂה בָקָר עִם־עַתּוּדִים סֶלָה׃
15 I will offer unto Thee burnt-offerings of fatlings, With the sweet smoke of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah
16 לְכוּ־שִׁמְעוּ וַאֲסַפְּרָה כָּל־יִרְאֵי אֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה לְנַפְשִׁי׃
16 Come, and hearken, all ye that fear God, And I will declare what He hath done for my soul.
17 אֵלָיו פִּי־קָרָאתִי וְרוֹמַם תַּחַת לְשׁוֹנִי׃
17 I cried unto Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.
18 אָוֶן אִם־רָאִיתִי בְלִבִּי לֹא יִשְׁמַע אֲדֹנָי׃
18 If I had regarded iniquity in my heart, The Lord would not hear;
19 אָכֵן שָׁמַע אֱלֹהִים הִקְשִׁיב בְּקוֹל תְּפִלָּתִי׃
19 But verily God hath heard; He hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 בָּרוּךְ אֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר לֹא־הֵסִיר תְּפִלָּתִי וְחַסְדּוֹ מֵאִתִּי׃
20 Blessed be God, Who hath not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me.
Psalm 67 · תְּהִלִּים 67Open / close
1 לַמְנַצֵּח בִּנְגִינֹת מִזְמוֹר שִׁיר׃
1 For the Leader; with string-music. A Psalm, a Song.
2 אֱלֹהִים יְחָנֵּנוּ וִיבָרְכֵנוּ יָאֵר פָּנָיו אִתָּנוּ סֶלָה׃
2 God be gracious unto us, and bless us; May He cause His face to shine toward us; Selah
3 לָדַעַת בָּאָרֶץ דַּרְכֶּךָ בְּכָל־גּוֹיִם יְשׁוּעָתֶךָ׃
3 That Thy way may be known upon earth, Thy salvation among all nations.
4 יוֹדוּךָ עַמִּים אֱלֹהִים יוֹדוּךָ עַמִּים כֻּלָּם׃
4 Let the peoples give thanks unto Thee, O God; Let the peoples give thanks unto Thee, all of them. .
5 יִשְׂמְחוּ וִירַנְּנוּ לְאֻמִּים כִּי־תִשְׁפֹּט עַמִּים מִישׁוֹר וּלְאֻמִּים בָּאָרֶץ תַּנְחֵם סֶלָה׃
5 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy; For Thou wilt judge the peoples with equity, And lead the nations upon earth. Selah
6 יוֹדוּךָ עַמִּים אֱלֹהִים יוֹדוּךָ עַמִּים כֻּלָּם׃
6 Let the peoples give thanks unto Thee, O God; Let the peoples give thanks unto Thee, all of them.
7 אֶרֶץ נָתְנָה יְבוּלָהּ יְבָרְכֵנוּ אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵינוּ׃
7 The earth hath yielded her increase; May God, our own God, bless us.
8 יְבָרְכֵנוּ אֱלֹהִים וְיִירְאוּ אֹתוֹ כָּל־אַפְסֵי־אָרֶץ׃
8 May God bless us; And let all the ends of the earth fear Him.
Psalm 68 · תְּהִלִּים 68Open / close
1 לַמְנַצֵּחַ לְדָוִד מִזְמוֹר שִׁיר׃
1 For the Leader. A Psalm of David, a Song.
2 יָקוּם אֱלֹהִים יָפוּצוּ אוֹיְבָיו וְיָנוּסוּ מְשַׂנְאָיו מִפָּנָיו׃
2 Let God arise, let His enemies be scattered; And let them that hate Him flee before Him.
3 כְּהִנְדֹּף עָשָׁן תִּנְדֹּף כְּהִמֵּס דּוֹנַג מִפְּנֵי־אֵשׁ יֹאבְדוּ רְשָׁעִים מִפְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים׃
3 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away; As wax melteth before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
4 וְצַדִּיקִים יִשְׂמְחוּ יַעַלְצוּ לִפְנֵי אֱלֹהִים וְיָשִׂישׂוּ בְשִׂמְחָה׃
4 But let the righteous be glad, let them exult before God; Yea, let them rejoice with gladness.
5 שִׁירוּ לֵאלֹהִים זַמְּרוּ שְׁמוֹ סֹלּוּ לָרֹכֵב בָּעֲרָבוֹת בְּיָהּ שְׁמוֹ וְעִלְזוּ לְפָנָיו׃
5 Sing unto God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him that rideth upon the skies, whose name is the LORD; And exult ye before Him.
6 אֲבִי יְתוֹמִים וְדַיַּן אַלְמָנוֹת אֱלֹהִים בִּמְעוֹן קָדְשׁוֹ׃
6 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in His holy habitation.
7 אֱלֹהִים מוֹשִׁיב יְחִידִים בַּיְתָה מוֹצִיא אֲסִירִים בַּכּוֹשָׁרוֹת אַךְ סוֹרֲרִים שָׁכְנוּ צְחִיחָה׃
7 God maketh the solitary to dwell in a house; He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity; The rebellious dwell but in a parched land.
8 אֱלֹהִים בְּצֵאתְךָ לִפְנֵי עַמֶּךָ בְּצַעְדְּךָ בִישִׁימוֹן סֶלָה׃
8 O God, when Thou wentest forth before Thy people, When Thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah
9 אֶרֶץ רָעָשָׁה אַף־שָׁמַיִם נָטְפוּ מִפְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים זֶה סִינַי מִפְּנֵי אֱלֹהִים אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
9 The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God; Even yon Sinai trembled at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
10 גֶּשֶׁם נְדָבוֹת תָּנִיף אֱלֹהִים נַחֲלָתְךָ וְנִלְאָה אַתָּה כוֹנַנְתָּהּ׃
10 A bounteous rain didst Thou pour down, O God; When Thine inheritance was weary, Thou didst confirm it.
11 חַיָּתְךָ יָשְׁבוּ־בָהּ תָּכִין בְּטוֹבָתְךָ לֶעָנִי אֱלֹהִים׃
11 Thy flock settled therein; Thou didst prepare in Thy goodness for the poor, O God.
12 אֲדֹנָי יִתֶּן־אֹמֶר הַמְבַשְּׂרוֹת צָבָא רָב׃
12 The Lord giveth the word; The women that proclaim the tidings are a great host.
13 מַלְכֵי צְבָאוֹת יִדֹּדוּן יִדֹּדוּן וּנְוַת בַּיִת תְּחַלֵּק שָׁלָל׃
13 Kings of armies flee, they flee; And she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
14 אִם־תִּשְׁכְּבוּן בֵּין שְׁפַתָּיִם כַּנְפֵי יוֹנָה נֶחְפָּה בַכֶּסֶף וְאֶבְרוֹתֶיהָ בִּירַקְרַק חָרוּץ׃
14 When ye lie among the sheepfolds, The wings of the dove are covered with silver, And her pinions with the shimmer of gold. .
15 בְּפָרֵשׂ שַׁדַּי מְלָכִים בָּהּ תַּשְׁלֵג בְּצַלְמוֹן׃
15 When the Almighty scattereth kings therein, It snoweth in Zalmon.
16 הַר־אֱלֹהִים הַר־בָּשָׁן הַר גַּבְנֻנִּים הַר־בָּשָׁן׃
16 A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A mountain of peaks is the mountain of Bashan.
17 לָמָּה תְּרַצְּדוּן הָרִים גַּבְנֻנִּים הָהָר חָמַד אֱלֹהִים לְשִׁבְתּוֹ אַף־יְהוָה יִשְׁכֹּן לָנֶצַח׃
17 Why look ye askance, ye mountains of peaks, At the mountain which God hath desired for His abode? Yea, the LORD will dwell therein for ever.
18 רֶכֶב אֱלֹהִים רִבֹּתַיִם אַלְפֵי שִׁנְאָן אֲדֹנָי בָם סִינַי בַּקֹּדֶשׁ׃
18 The chariots of God are myriads, even thousands upon thousands; The Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in holiness.
19 עָלִיתָ לַמָּרוֹם שָׁבִיתָ שֶּׁבִי לָקַחְתָּ מַתָּנוֹת בָּאָדָם וְאַף סוֹרְרִים לִשְׁכֹּן יָהּ אֱלֹהִים׃
19 Thou hast ascended on high, Thou hast led captivity captive; Thou hast received gifts among men, Yea, among the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell there.
20 בָּרוּךְ אֲדֹנָי יוֹם יוֹם יַעֲמָס־לָנוּ הָאֵל יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ סֶלָה׃
20 Blessed be the Lord, day by day He beareth our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. Selah
21 הָאֵל לָנוּ אֵל לְמוֹשָׁעוֹת וְלֵיהוִה אֲדֹנָי לַמָּוֶת תּוֹצָאוֹת׃
21 God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto GOD the Lord belong the issues of death.
22 אַךְ־אֱלֹהִים יִמְחַץ רֹאשׁ אֹיְבָיו קָדְקֹד שֵׂעָר מִתְהַלֵּךְ בַּאֲשָׁמָיו׃
22 Surely God will smite through the head of His enemies, The hairy scalp of him that goeth about in his guiltiness.
23 אָמַר אֲדֹנָי מִבָּשָׁן אָשִׁיב אָשִׁיב מִמְּצֻלוֹת יָם׃
23 The Lord said: 'I will bring back from Bashan, I will bring them back from the depths of the sea;
24 לְמַעַן תִּמְחַץ רַגְלְךָ בְּדָם לְשׁוֹן כְּלָבֶיךָ מֵאֹיְבִים מִנֵּהוּ׃
24 That thy foot may wade through blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from thine enemies.'
25 רָאוּ הֲלִיכוֹתֶיךָ אֱלֹהִים הֲלִיכוֹת אֵלִי מַלְכִּי בַקֹּדֶשׁ׃
25 They see Thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, in holiness.
26 קִדְּמוּ שָׁרִים אַחַר נֹגְנִים בְּתוֹךְ עֲלָמוֹת תּוֹפֵפוֹת׃
26 The singers go before, the minstrels follow after, In the midst of damsels playing upon timbrels.
27 בְּמַקְהֵלוֹת בָּרְכוּ אֱלֹהִים יְהוָה מִמְּקוֹר יִשְׂרָאֵל׃
27 'Bless ye God in full assemblies, Even the Lord, ye that are from the fountain of Israel.'
28 שָׁם בִּנְיָמִן צָעִיר רֹדֵם שָׂרֵי יְהוּדָה רִגְמָתָם שָׂרֵי זְבֻלוּן שָׂרֵי נַפְתָּלִי׃
28 There is Benjamin, the youngest, ruling them, The princes of Judah their council, The princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
29 צִוָּה אֱלֹהֶיךָ עֻזֶּךָ עוּזָּה אֱלֹהִים זוּ פָּעַלְתָּ לָּנוּ׃
29 Thy God hath commanded thy strength; Be strong, O God, Thou that hast wrought for us
30 מֵהֵיכָלֶךָ עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִָם לְךָ יוֹבִילוּ מְלָכִים שָׁי׃
30 Out of Thy temple at Jerusalem, Whither kings shall bring presents unto Thee.
31 גְּעַר חַיַּת קָנֶה עֲדַת אַבִּירִים בְּעֶגְלֵי עַמִּים מִתְרַפֵּס בְּרַצֵּי־כָסֶף בִּזַּר עַמִּים קְרָבוֹת יֶחְפָּצוּ׃
31 Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, Every one submitting himself with pieces of silver; He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war!
32 יֶאֱתָיוּ חַשְׁמַנִּים מִנִּי מִצְרָיִם כּוּשׁ תָּרִיץ יָדָיו לֵאלֹהִים׃
32 Nobles shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall hasten to stretch out her hands unto God.
33 מַמְלְכוֹת הָאָרֶץ שִׁירוּ לֵאלֹהִים זַמְּרוּ אֲדֹנָי סֶלָה׃
33 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah
34 לָרֹכֵב בִּשְׁמֵי שְׁמֵי־קֶדֶם הֵן יִתֵּן בְּקוֹלוֹ קוֹל עֹז׃
34 To Him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which are of old; Lo, He uttereth His voice, a mighty voice.
35 תְּנוּ עֹז לֵאלֹהִים עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵל גַּאֲוָתוֹ וְעֻזּוֹ בַּשְּׁחָקִים׃
35 Ascribe ye strength unto God; His majesty is over Israel, And His strength is in the skies.
36 נוֹרָא אֱלֹהִים מִמִּקְדָּשֶׁיךָ אֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא נֹתֵן עֹז וְתַעֲצֻמוֹת לָעָם בָּרוּךְ אֱלֹהִים׃
36 Awful is God out of thy holy places; The God of Israel, He giveth strength and power unto the people; Blessed be God.
