Ways to say “to exercise”
לְהִתְאַמֵּן — train / work out; לְהִתְעַמֵּל — do physical exercises; לְתַרְגֵּל — practice a skill; לַעֲשׂוֹת סְפּוֹרְט — literally “do sport,” an everyday expression.
Plant-based vocabulary
צִמְחוֹנִי — vegetarian; טִבְעוֹנִי — vegan; מָזוֹן מִן הַצּוֹמֵחַ — plant-based food. The first two are adjectives, not verbs.
Grammar you can recognize
Roots and patterns: a Hebrew root often carries a central idea, while the binyan changes the form and sometimes the meaning. For example, לִלְמוֹד (to learn) and לְלַמֵּד (to teach) share the root ל־מ־ד. A מ in a present-tense form is part of a pattern, not a universal meaning-changing prefix.
Present, past, future, commands: in the dictionary, choose a fully prepared verb to see the complete person-by-person conjugation. Some words are listed for vocabulary first while their forms are checked.
Arguments: לָרִיב is to quarrel; לְהִתְוַכֵּחַ is to argue or debate; לְהִתְפַּשֵּׁר is to compromise.
